Soul Connections "The Enneagram: A Tool for Ministry" - May 9-11

posted on February 11

Join us for a two-part SoulConnections event, May 9-11, 2019, at The Lodge of the Four Seasons.

Registration closes March 29, 2019.

The Enneagram is a powerful personality system that combines both psychology and spirituality in the search for self-awareness and self-acceptance. Based on an ancient understanding of personal growth, the enneagram describes nine different ways of thinking, feeling, behaving, and seeing the world.  By understanding ourselves more deeply, the study of the Enneagram can improve relationships with family, friends and co-workers.

Through exploring our personality with the Enneagram, we become more self-aware and accepting of ourselves.  While this brings peace and harmony in our daily lives, it can also deepen our relationship with God.  As we calm our ego, we allow space for a greater awareness of our true nature and the experience of the Divine.  The Enneagram can be particularly helpful for church leaders as a tool for developing an understanding personal strengths and challenges in ministry.  More fully aware of who we are and how others perceive us, we can be stronger and more effective agents for change in our church and in our world.
