Updated Festival of Sharing Annual Conference Mid-State District Challenge
posted on June 01
“Please visit http://www.festivalofsharing.org/annual-conference-2020.html to see which item your district has been challenged to collect and the times and locations where you can drop off items.
Instead of collecting at the Annual Conference, we are now collecting it at the Conference office. Since our protocol at this time is to limit guests into the building we will have a bin, bucket, basket or something for collections inside the breezeway door and you may collect and add to that from 8 AM-4:30 PM M-F on the designated dates (July 6th-10th).
If you wish to collect in HUBs and have one delivery in July that would be fine! Please check with your HUB Leads to make sure they are collecting.
If you would like to collect in your own church and someone brings any items collected between now and then that would be ok as long as the church has the capacity for that and is allowing people on premises during this social distancing time.
You may mail in the items if they are smaller packages, you may put ATTN: Festival of Sharing or Mid-State and we can deposit the item on your behalf.
You may come by and drop it off yourself in July if you are close or coming through the area. All generosity is welcome, but please read the conference guild lines below.
When dropping off items please remember:
Wash or sanitize hands before and after touching items.
Practice social distancing.
Wear a mask at all times while on-site, for the protection of staff and volunteers who organize donations.
Please only take hygiene items at this time and limit the time you are on-site to increase safety and efficiency.
We appreciate your contributions and patience as we work through this new plan. Monetary donations can be made in place of dropping items off. Please make checks out to MOAC, put FOS-MO Hygiene in the memo line, and mail to Festival of Sharing at 3601 Amron Ct, Columbia, MO 65202). For any questions, please call 573-474-3332 or email email@example.com.”
