MS Lay Servant Ministry Class:Basic Course-Online
This two-session online course is offered on April 17 and 24, 2021 from 8:00 am-12:30 pm via ZOOM. To complete the course, you must attend both classes.
This course has broad application for ALL United Methodists, especially those seeking to discover their ministry. It will guide you to discover your gifts and put them to use. Topics include: Ministry of the Baptized, Leading, Caring, Communicating, and Into the World. And the course has integrated Phil Maynard’s Foundations of Discipleship. What does it mean to be a disciple, how can I measure, progress, and hold myself accountable?
The purpose of Lay Servant Ministries is to equip United Methodists for all facets of lay ministry. It fosters teams of well-equipped laypersons with a variety of gifts working with and under the leadership of pastors and staff to create vital congregations. Invite your friends!
